Hi, my name is Sheldon...
I am currently a Senior at California State University, Fullerton. I have been on the Dean's List for several semesters in a row and maintain a 3.7 GPA average. One of my favorite classes has been COMM 455 - "Internet Ad & Promotional Communications". In this class I have learned how to manage digital campaigns, use Google Ads, and approach digital problems with creative solutions that get results.
I began my professional journey in 2019 and have since worked on a number of solo and collaborative projects. In my current role as the Social Media Evangelist at the Pentecostals of Orange County, I have been responsible for everything from content creation to social media management. This involves creating cross-platform campaigns for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. In this deadline-heavy, fluid environment I have had the opportunity to grow in my skills as a professional. have been responsible for leading major re-branding projects which required strong time management skills and an ability to handle diverse tasks. I have also been responsible for communicating with department leaders to make sure that promotional materials were prepared for upcoming events.
I take pride in the work that I do and in the long-term relationships that I’ve built with my clients. I am a firm believer in working hard, working together, and having fun along the way! As a passionate and detail-oriented industry professional, I enjoy approaching complex projects with a holistic approach. A large part of my success while working with people stems from my ability to cultivate an intuitive understanding of their needs, and spearhead the project from there.
I am also extremely passionate about the activities that I partake in outside of work. These include cycling, hiking, and running. I believe that it is critical that every professional have an outlet in which they can re-charge and better themselves for the work week ahead. One of my favorite events that I competed in was the SoCal Endurance Championships. This was an eight-hour mountain bike race that was challenging both physically and mentally. Throughout the race, I was forced to figure out ways to adapt to and quickly resolve unexpected problems. I was also pushed past the point of wanting to quit, which required extreme mental resolve. Ultimately I ended up getting on the podium of the race and having some of the fastest lap times in my category.
I would love for you to check out my portfolio and take a look at some of the projects I've worked on with my clients for yourself!
